So the demo comes out tomorrow (1/8). i'm super excited for the game. that is all. here's an excerpt from x3f:

"According to the EA press release, the Skate 2 demo will allow players to explore the streets of New San Vanelona, allow character customization, test out the game's single player storyline and play online in the Thrasher's Hall of Meat and Spot Battle party modes. Skate on!"

I've been reading a lot about people's thoughts on the demo. Unfortunately, there's a timer again, and apparently only allowing up to 10 minutes of freeskate??

Also, a lot have been complaing about several things, from controls, to camera views, to framrate drops =/

Guess I'll have to see for myself when I get back from work.

Seriously, this timed demo BS meeds to stop. Have you or anyone else tried the party mode option yet? Anyways, the demo is pretty fun and the gameplay seems a little bit smoother until you bail. Getting off the board and moving around objects setting up sweet spots was awesome. One thing I haven't figured out is doing footplants, anyone know?

rofl reminds me of stuntman. wouldn't be surprised though if this happens considering the amoount of interactivity they allow with moving and placing objects. probably the next gen consoles will fix this

So apparently pedestrians carry around tazers and if you piss them off, they aren't afraid to use them. Pretty good game so far, been doing a few challenges and owning some spots. Still need to learn some tricks like finger flips. GET THIS PEOPLE!

Hah yeah. Another good part was when he was talking about reaching a certain amount of points on a single trick. Something like, I finally managed to do a kickflip to a grind and then a summersualt off while curing every worldly disease and was still 600 points short.

Haha then showed some black character do a grind + 5 flips and get 99999999999 / 1000 points.

I still play a little bit. Mostly just skating around and setting up new spots. I got the new GTA content so I'll be playing that for a little.
