I figured we should start talking about this fucking thing early. We can probably have it at my house again, if anyone has an objection to that please say so. Right now we're looking at Sunday June 21st, this isn't official so let me know which date is good for everyone. At first I didn't want to do the pig again, but now I sort of want to seeing that I can get one cheap. To keep thing simple, I plan on just doing a pig, salad, corn and ziti or sausage and peppers(and beer of course). I will do all the shopping for this one, but if everyone could contribute that would be great. Ill be posting my paypal address on here so people can do that if they want to, so that it won't be James and I and like 2 others paying for the whole thing again. I'd love to pay for the whole thing but I just can't. Wtk members aren't the only ones paying for this thing so $20 or so should be fine. Discuss.
I don't even know whats going on with this. I'm not allowed to have anyone stay over at my house this time, so we may be keeping it small this time around. Unless others can accommodate the out of stater's. And we probably can't have it at my house either...

Well, seeing as this will be the summer after I graduate, I can probably convince my parents to let me go for a vacation to you guys.
However, we already rented an apartment in South Carolina on the beach for this summer, but I don't know when.
If I could come, it would be great :)

well... i am out of state... so i dunno if you guys wanna do it at my place... i would have to know how many people were staying over and such... we could probably sleep like 15 ish people... i have a huge backyard and only one neighbor... and if people are willing to sleep in a tent or something then there is no limit to the amount of people haha...
but yeah since most of you guys are in NY... you may wanna have it over there... dunno up to you guys... im just throwing it out there.

with regards to date, i'm not planning on any wek long vacations or anything like that nor do i have any plans for the summer, aside from the fact that there's a chance i'll be moving. would be preferible if we had it like may or june, early summer type time.
all you bitches get picky with the date and say there are no qualms then like a few days before the actual day shit comes up, so you bitches decide on a date, and i'm not planning anything this time after unwillingly helping significantly in the planning of the last gathering and the ski trip

Hm, May seems a little sudden plus we usually don't open up our pool until mid to late June. Then again it wouldn't be so terribly hot but if May is convenient for the most of us I'll see what I can do although it seems it may not work out for some of us.

Question: how much did the pig cost last year? and i assume it takes like 6-8 hrs to cook?
It was $120 for a 40 lb pig. I'm getting a 20-25 pounder this year, since we had a lot of left overs. If I smoke it like I want to it'll take at least 8 hours. On a spit it takes like 4-5. If I smoke it, I'll probably do it at my house starting the night before the bbq and just bring it to ants when its done.
