So word is a black male stole a piece of pizza from the SAC cafeteria by displaying his handgun, and then fled from the scene. They had a live feed on the local news and theres many students just chilling outside waving at the helicopters in a somewhat celebratory fashion. In the meantime my friend says that he's stuck in a computer site and they won't let anyone leave.

yeah they called it in, but it was just a rumor that he had a gun... Real story goes he ate a slice of pizza and then didn't pay for it, got into a confrontation with a worker about it, then ran away.

SBU sent out an email saying the report given by the dining worker was inconsistent and people in the SAC Cafeteria at the time it happenned never saw a gun, and only saw a guy running away as if he stole food and was spotted.

who knows the dining hall worker may have been racist and just said he had a gun for the hell of it.
